Polarcurrency.com has been created for educational purposes and to support the YouTube channel Polar Currency (www.youtube.com/@PolarCurrency). The channel is dedicated to collecting paper currency. This is not your typical 'numismatic' website. It's for Notaphilist - collectors of banknotes or paper money. The focus isn’t just about the grade of a banknote or the cost but primarily concentrates on the over 250 year history of banknotes of the United States and the world. The quality, artistry, craftsmanship and the people who appear, have signed, or have produced our money is what intrigues me. I’m not an expert. I simply gather information and tell a story to the best of my ability and hopefully present it in an entertaining way.

Every so often I get asked to share my entire collection on video. Well, I'm slowly doing that - but I get what's being asked. Eventually I will video my notes but in sections that you will see broken down. Posting my collection also gives me the ability to veiw it from almost anywere.
